Post-Conference Excursion to Turkey (September 22-23)

Day 1. Congregation of participants at the Customs House of Mitiline at 07:45 a.m. After completion of all necessary checks, departure for Aivalik. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Departure for Pergamum, and visit of the ancient city (Asclepeion) and the Acropolis. Local "traditional" lunch. Late afternoon return to the hotel.

Day 2. Early morning departure for the ancient city of Troy and Assos. Organized sight-seeing of the antiquities and lunch in the area. Return to Aivalik and departure for Mitiline.

Cost of Post-Conference Excursion

The cost of the post-conference excursion per person comes to 125 EURO for double or triple room reservations and 145 EURO for single room reservations. This price includes boat tickets to and from Turkey, customs taxes, accommodation at a 4-star hotel in Aivalik, 2 fieldtrips, dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second day, lunches on both fieldtrips, a tour guide and a travel agency escort. It does not include tickets to the archaeological sites, which will come up to 20 EURO in total per person, according to the above schedule. Minimum required number of participants: 25 persons.
